I was reading the other day and found out not that only Pauline Chai but many Miss Malaysia's are in fact divorced.
I think that goes to show that what really sustains a marriage (or any relationship for that matter) isn't beauty or brains. Yet, those will always be what people would go for first. At least, I myself, am guilty of it sometimes.
Over and above, say... values and principles? Or kindness or compassion?
